EXUS’ technological solutions combine RTO and scrubber systems: the RTO allows any volatile halogenated organic compound to be converted into more basic (inorganic) compounds, which are then processed by scrubbers.
By combining these two technologies (RTO and scrubber), EXUS is able to reduce emissions, comply with current emission restrictions and reduce the impact of emissions on the atmosphere and the environment.
The plants that EXUS proposes for the abatement of halogenated compounds are:
- Thermal oxidizers + basic scrubber;
- Activated carbon filters.
